Ramping up and thought I would take a moment…
OK, over 6 hours to make ME a fall scarf. I found this beautiful copper color rain coat at the thrift store a while back. Just LOVED it! Since it was only $7, had to have it. Immediately I started designing me a scarf to go with it. I am so happy with the results.
First I dyed a silk scarf, roving and locks so they would all have to same color. When dying natural fibers, I always get such a wonderful mixture of that color palette. I was so pleased at how well they all turned out. Now to add some lace and shiny fibers….and my design is born! This is the first time working with locks that I got what I was going for too! Add the button and ready to wear.
It’s very soft and comfortable, easy to wear and I can’t wait to take it out…come on rain!

I’ve been working on more beautiful items and getting ready to head out to see if I can find a couple shops that would like to sell my “makings”. I have other items besides scarves…so fingers crossed. Thanks for looking and comment below.
